Cyprus, 27.05.2008 – Spin32Poker.com proudly partners with *ProPlayer™ to bring Spin32Poker players the ProPlayer Endurance Drink Challenge 2008, giving one lucky winner the chance to join legendary poker pro Phil Hellmuth Jr. as an official member of Team ProPlayer.

The ProPlayer Challenge 2008 at Spin32Poker.com involves two qualifying heats, each one leading through to the grand finale, a $500 Freeroll paying the top ten finishers, and awarding the winner with $150 cash, the honour of becoming a fully fledged member of the ProPlayer Team, plus the right to attend all Team ProPlayer major events worldwide.

For the ultimate in real value at Spin32Poker.com, players should enter the first ProPlayer Endurance Drink Challenge qualifying tournament, a Freeroll Tournament on Sunday June 1 at 20:00CST (02:00GMT). With no buy-in or entry fee, offering $1.00 rebuys and add-ons, it’s the most cost-effective and risk-free way to getting in the hunt.

The top 40 finishers from this qualifying round will receive automatic entry into Tournament 2 of the ProPlayer Challenge series, to be played on Sunday June 8 at 20:00CST (02:00GMT), while players wanting to get in on the action can still buy-in directly for $5.00+1.00.

Players who finish in the top 40 of the field in Tournament Two earn a ticket into the $500 Freeroll ProPlayer Challenge series final, scheduled for Sunday June 15 at 20:00CST (02:00GMT).

That’s right…40 starters only in the ProPlayer Challenge final. With little or no investment, and 10 players paid a share of the $500 prize money, who can argue with that?

Don’t miss out. Diarize these important dates now.
Tournament 1: Sunday June 1 @ 20:00CST
Tournament 2: Sunday June 8 @ 20:00CST
$500 Freeroll Final: Sunday June15 @ 20:00CST

As an added incentive for players who compete in the ProPlayer Challenge, Spin32Poker Member Ben “EF” Hutton, himself an established member of Team ProPlayer, has a Bounty placed on his head throughout this fun Tournament series.

The player that knocks out EFHuttonS32 in Tournament 1 of the ProPlayer Tournament Series will get the chance to play him Heads Up to pocket $50 on the day prior to Tournament 2 of the Challenge.

If EFHuttonS32 wins this Heads Up match, the $50 bonus prize money will jackpot to Tournament 2. Similarly, the player who claims ‘the scalp’ of the Bounty EFHuttonS32 in Tournament 2 will face off against Hutton Heads Up, this time with the $100 jackpot up for grabs.

In the event Hutton wins this second Heads Up Challenge, then the $100 will be carried over and become a bonus Bounty on his head throughout the $500 Freeroll grand final.

For a share of the $500 Freeroll prize pool, additional Bounty dollars, and other great prizes on offer, including ProPlayer logo wear and drink samples, remember, there are two qualifying tournaments, and that means double the fun and more chances to win at Spin32Poker.com.

Spin32Poker.com continues to welcome online Poker players from the USA, offering a generous Welcome Bonus up to $500* for every first time depositor to the site.

Tiscali Blocks Biggest European Poker Room?

Posted on April 17th, 2008 in Poker by Oliver.Cross

For those that aren’t aware Tiscali is one of the biggest ISP in the UK, they are also linked with Pipex and O2. There’s been a lot of discussion over the last two days about not being able to connect to the likes of Blue SQ, Titan and VCPoker and after some extensive digging around it was pretty much confirmed to be the whole of the iPoker network. It appears to have had a knock-on affect to their casino products as well. After phoning the Tiscali help line I managed to get through to a representative, “We no block anything sir” was his response. I couldn’t really get much more because the rep had the language capacity of a five year old child.

Tiscali have been known for blocking iTunes and a number of bit torrent sites as well but never lets anyone know about upcoming maintenance. I hope they have the problem resolved as soon as possible but one Technical Administrator from Tiscali states the work could be months. To me it sounds like the safe port act all over again for what ever reason they are choosing to block players from getting their daily dose, personally it’s time to get a new ISP.
