God this is a struggle, one of my three options fell through today. The position was for a French poker room manager and I did ask if the candidate needed to speak French. I was told it wasn’t essential. After answering a bunch of questions I was given a phone interview but within the first five minutes they said I don’t have a French accent. Turns out you actually do need to speak French . Dublin down, London and Philippines (not Hong Kong) to go.
